VRT - Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep
VRT is the public service broadcaster for Belgium's Flemish population. Its headquarters are in Brussels and its three television and six radio channels are run by a staff of more than 2,800 people.
After installing a pilot system for the VRT radio and TV network, VCS was commissioned in 2006 to supply a dira! production and playout system for VRT-News and Radio één. Within the framework of this project, the iNews newsroom computer system and the Ardome archive system were integrated with the dira! system. The original pilot system is now being used for training purposes.
